Balham SDA Member Leads B-Positive Community Choir to the Finals of Britain's Got Talent

3rd June 2018

Balham Seventh-day Adventist member Colin Anderson, conducted the B-Positive Community Choir as they reached the finals of Britain's Got Talent.

The message behind their singing is to encourage people to give blood. The choir received a standing ovation by all four judges in their first round performance with their song, 'And I'll Rise Up', and subsequently were selected for the semi-final stage. Although they were not selected initially for the final, the choir received the 'wildcard' vote for the finals last Sunday, given by the shows organiser, Simon Cowell. The overall winner of the show was 'The Lost Voice Guy'.

The B-Positive Community Choir, created by NHS Blood and Transplant, is made up of various people around he county whose lives are affected by the life-saving power of blood. See here for more details.
